Terms of Use — Sayad app

By using the "Sayad" app or creating an account, you agree to these terms, the privacy policy and the community rules. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
1. Who we are
The app is published and operated by the developer Sayad Apps. Contact by email only: support.sayad@gmail.com.
2. Eligibility
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your password secret and for all activity on your account.
- One account per person. Impersonation is prohibited.
3. The service
Sayad offers marine weather and tide forecasts, moon-based fishing times, a map of fishing spots and shops, a fishing diary, AI fish identification, a fish encyclopedia, tools (compass, Qibla, prayer times) and a community of anglers. We may add, change or discontinue features at any time.
4. Safety and limits of the information
- Weather, tides and waves: approximate forecasts from external sources that may be wrong or late. Do not rely on them alone to decide whether to go out to sea or onto the rocks. Official reference: the meteorological services and port and maritime bulletins of your country.
- Fishing spots: indicative information, some of it suggested by users. We do not guarantee that a spot is safe, accessible or open to fishing. Check the risks and access permission yourself.
- AI identification: automatic and fallible. Do not rely on it to decide whether a fish is safe to eat; some species are toxic.
- Prayer times and Qibla: calculated mathematically and may differ by a few minutes from the official times used in your country.
- Regulations: you alone are responsible for complying with fishing rules: permits, closed seasons (biological rest), minimum sizes, bag limits and protected areas. The app's information does not replace official texts.
Fishing can be dangerous. You practise it at your own risk.
5. Your content
- You keep ownership of what you post. You grant us a free, non-exclusive licence to display, store, copy and resize it in the app and for its operation, for as long as it stays posted.
- We will not use your photos in advertising outside the app without your express permission.
- You confirm you hold the rights to what you post and that it does not break the law, third-party rights or the community rules.
- Public content is visible to everyone. Do not post anything you do not want others to see.
6. Moderation, reports and suspension
- Text is checked automatically, and any user can report content or block a user.
- Content reported several times is hidden automatically pending review. Reports are usually reviewed within 48 hours.
- We may remove any content that breaks these terms or the community rules, and suspend or delete an account for serious or repeated violations.

7. Pro subscription
- A monthly or yearly subscription paid through Google Play. It removes ads and unlocks 16-day tide and weather forecasts, the tide coefficient, activity times for every day with alerts, diary insights, offline maps and 50 fish-ID photos a month (fair-use limit). The price shown is Google Play's price in your currency and varies by country.
- We may change the plan's content or limits in the future and will notify you in the app before any change affecting an active subscription.
- A one-time free trial may be offered; when it ends, billing starts automatically unless you cancel.
- The subscription renews automatically at the end of each period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends.
- Cancel in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions. The subscription stays active until the end of the paid period.
- Deleting the app or your account does not cancel the subscription; you must cancel it in Google Play.
- Refunds follow Google Play's policy, without affecting your statutory consumer rights.
- If we change the price, Google Play will notify you in advance and you can cancel before it applies.
8. Ads and third-party services
The app shows Google AdMob ads to free users and relies on external services (Google, OpenStreetMap, Open-Meteo and others). We are not responsible for ad content, external websites or outages of those services.
9. Prohibited use
You may not hack the app or try to access other people's data, scrape data automatically, republish or sell the app's content, disrupt the service or use it for any unlawful purpose.
10. Intellectual property
The app, its name, logo, design, text and illustrations belong to us or our licensors. Copying or using them without permission is prohibited, except as allowed by the open licences listed in the "Licences & sources" screen.
11. Liability
The app is provided "as is", without any guarantee that the information is accurate or that the service will be uninterrupted. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect damages or for damages resulting from reliance on the information shown or on user content. This clause does not affect any right that cannot be waived under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
12. Termination
You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time (Profile → "Delete my account"). We may terminate your account if you breach these terms.
13. Disputes
We aim to settle any disagreement amicably: email us first at support.sayad@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days. These terms do not affect any mandatory right your country's law gives you, including your right to go to the competent courts.
14. Changes
We may update these terms. For any significant change we will notify you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use the app means you accept the change.
